It's not a matter of a backup, but yes. I take them every time I do most anything because this is such a huge project.
The problem is the plugin from VM for quantity discounts. I've confirmed that it's the Quantity Related Price Calculation that is too old for J5.
When I disabled that plugin the entire platform functioned perfectly.
The problem now is, waiting (still longer) for VM to come up with an update. It's the "only" plugin that does what it does - displays the discount and literally subtracts it from the price as you click either up or down on the quantity for the product.
There's another one that is similar, but all it does is "display" the discount breaks - it does not actually calculate anything...which seems pointless to me.
I can't move forward because there are far too many products in the site and if I have to make adjustments after the plugin update (or converting to another method?), that would be around 2,000 products to address. I'm not going to add to that....that 2,000 is only a fraction of what "will" be in the site.
You'd think such a simple plugin would be available from several places. I'm about to start looking for a developer who can create one. Know anybody?!
